Its Raining Flowers

Danish @ Marina Square Singapore Biennale 2006 Poster
On my way to Carrefour in Suntec City with my son to buy hamster cages there, I just had to stop along the way because it was such a photo opportunity with the flowers by the road side in glorious bloom!

Though the day was cloudy with occasional drizzles, but the sight was so cheerful just looking at the city in bloom. An awesome feast for the eyes!

  2. Hello Andrew,

It sure is beautiful and cheerful there with the flowers blooming. A good day for an afternoon stroll.

We would have gone to the bay area behind the Esplanade (spiky dome building) to relax if not for the urgent need to look for hamster cages.

The whole island is reasonably clean. That is what makes us happy. Still I would prefer natural settings than man-made ones - scenic mountains as oppose to grand skyscrapers, natural prairies in bloom as oppose to manicured gardens... etc.

Then again, I am thankful and count my blessings everyday that we live in an efficient and safe country. Opportunity is opened to any citizen.

So, when you are out in Asia, stop-over to Singapore to sample our multi-cultural way of life here amid the cosmopolitan infrastructure.

And when you do, tell me. I will be waiting to receive you at the airport when you land.

    Have a good weekend.
