HamsterVille Thanks You!

Our Heartfelt Appreciation To All
Wow! Our hamsters will have new homes!

Our sincerest appreciation and adulation for the people who have responded so far and are at least thinking about adopting our hamsters.

From my previous post of Hamsters For Adoption adverts on local pet-lovers websites, I have begun to receive calls to take-in our beloved hamsters to new homes and owners.

Baby Hammies Stackup RoutineNever thought it will be this soon, but we are happy to receive enquiries and for one, confirmation to pick them up for adoption.

One, nice and bubbly lady is wishing to adopt 4 hamsters - 2 males and 2 females and are meeting us up next week to pick whichever hamsters we choose as long as they are a few months and older.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Ms Shirley of Bukit Batok for her kind soul to care and love these beautiful creatures and companions.

Two more potential pet owners have expressed interest and since they are below 18, they will have to have their parents' consent before they can take them into their homes... to love and play with them.

Baby Hammies Flippin' RoutineSo far, all these people are previous hamsters owners and still keep the cages for a future pet. Well, the time is now.

As long as they feel that they are ready or get blessings from their parents to adopt, these hamsters are here for their new owners to love.

This is really encouraging. I personally feel very happy for the warm responses and the number of pet lovers out there.

At the same time we "will miss them and feel a void for a while.." as a beautiful hearted friend has truly reminded me... and yes, like she said too, this is the right thing to do. The best option so far.

Baby Hammies Cutesy RoutineHopefully there will be more animal lovers calling-in to adopt more of our hamsters... we have many, I can assure you.

I will then readily and happily step down as Mayor of HamsterVille and be a focused father to our son and our few hammies.

May The Almighty bless those beautiful, animal-loving hearts out there. Thank you.

  1. What a great heart you have Imran. I'm so glad to hear of all your efforts to try to mend the situation. Again, you can only do what you can do and that's more than enough in my book!

    I bet your a great dad too!..:0)

I guess as we all go through life we just keep learning so many things. With each situation we learn how our Spirits grow.

Thank you so much for taking the time to try to help me with my "attempt" at trying to put my photo on my blog profile.

Blessings and peace be to you and your family.

  2. I have been gone for a while. I am a little behind I read the post below. I hope that the hampster find good homes. I know how much that you all care for them. I hope to post tommorrow.

  3. Maybe I could put out an add for my 4 kids. (kidding!) :)

  4. I'll pretend I din't see that comment Mr.Lockhart!!!! Ha.

So pleased to read this latest post of yours Imran.

So far, so good. It is all happening there.

  5. I'm so glad your hammies are finding good homes. More time to devote to the cat now.

I tried to help Rhiannon. Let's see if it works.

    I'll also pretend I didn't see Andrew's remarks.

  6. Imran,

How can I ever thank you for trying to help me and then actually taking the time to ask Barbara to help me. As you can see it finally worked! Horray! Here I am!..:)

I can't thank you both eough. It meant a lot to me that you both went out of your way to help me, when you didn't have too. Hope I can return the favor one day..

Many many Angel Blessings to both you and Barbara..:)

Hope the hamster "homes" are coming along..

  7. Oops! I did a typo in my last comment. I meant "I can't thank you both "enough" was the word I meant..sorry..its been a few stressful days here....

  8. Hello All,

Appreciate you all for stopping by.

Rhiannon | Thank you for the kind words. I am pleasantly surprised that there are people who wish to adopt the hamsters, and am happy that these hamsters will have new homes, good homes.

I appreciate your support and sharing your experiences on this. Like you said, We are missing them already when we look at the ones that we are giving away.

C-Dell | Welcome back Bro. I know you are busy with your studies, and I think that is very responsible of you.

I wish my son will be as bright, motivated and confident with the right attitude towards family, society and life when he is your age.

Yes, I will definitely check out your post. Hope all is good with your studies.

Andrew | Of course I know you're kidding Bro. I'll be the first to adopt them without you even have to ask!

Children are wonderful heaven's gifts. You are so, so lucky to have the gifts bestowed upon you four times, while I got only one... but I am thankful just the same.

Ellen | I am pleased that there are takers. If there aren't we will care for them the best to the end of their natural lifespan.

At 45 hamsters, they are just too much and overwhelming to handle, but we love them all just the same. Each of them has that cute "X" factor that you cannot resist. Contagious!

Barbara | The cat, Wednesday is what we call a "self-service" cat. She comes in whenever she wants, gives us her intense love with her cat massages and attention, and then she is on the prowl again.

The spare time we will have will go to more family fun again. Weekend is the only time we can do anything that is not boringly routine. We will have the most out of the two days each week.

Thank you for your time to help her out. With your tech-savvy know-hows, I know Rhiannon will successfully get her profile completed. You're such a good person.

Thank you all again for coming in. Have a great weekend with your loved ones!

  9. Imran so you and Barbara did this "project" of "Rhiannons photo" together? How cool is that? Very cool.

    Thank you my dear friend.

    Spreading my angel wings,

  10. Ah, my friend! I'm so glad you're getting a good response that will find nice homes for some of your furry little friends.

How ironic is it that you popped in on me as I was describing some of their less-wanted cousins, lol? I posted that while I was still working on it because I wanted to see if the picture would work. It's finished now if you'd like to come back and get the whole story - with pictures!

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for stopping by and leaving me your messages. I will also try to answer any questions you may have for me.

Thanks again and have a good day.
