Where have all the time gone to? What have I accomplished for myself and for my family?
So many things in retrospect that I would have done differently, then again so many I have cherished and would not trade them for the world. Things that I did that made me truly happy and things I wished I had not done that made that tinge of regret stuck in me.
I guess this is life and I have to be grateful for the good and the bad... the balance of it all. Grateful that I had that balance in my life this past year. It could have been worse. I do hope these total opposites have made me a little wiser so that I can face and brace myself and to guide my family into the new year and beyond safely, excitingly and happily as a unit.
Here's wishing all, a Happy New Year! A year full of happiness, good health and success; always close to family and dear friends, to have the opportunities to share all of these with.

I read your last two posts just now at 2 a.m. Jan 2nd and JUST now saw the beautiful wishes for me and my husband. Thank you so much, Muhd! That has made my beginning new year so much nicer! I'm sitting here in the dark with only Tuffy Boy sleeping on the desk beside me. Last night I could hardly stay awake for the midnight new year but managed to stand up and hug and kiss my husband, pet the cat, and then got to fall asleep on the sofa for another good hour before I finally went to bed! It wasn't your real exciting New Year! but here it is! A brand new year we are privileged to be a part of. The temps rose today to above 50 deg F!!!, we had a thunderstorm last night and this a.m. and heavy rains made all the snow and ice go away! It was very foggy and gloomy, then the sun came out and made it much nicer. Now it's back in the 20s!! I am so glad you got to go with Wifey to the beach, a favorite thing for you! And I am SO HAPPY! that you posted here and commented on mine. Very pleased to see that today! Wishing you an adventurous New Year with lots of time to do what you wish...and lots of love.
